TeachAbroad - Our Vision


TeachAbroad was founded with the vision of affording Westerners an opportunity to share their culture, teach English abroad, and represent their country, while working as a K-12 teacher in a foreign land.

Teaching opportunities abound for any Western college graduate, whether said degree was earned from the schools of the hard sciences or the liberal arts; from the soon to be graduating twenty-one year old with a degree in fill-in-the-blank, to the recently retired high school teacher in his late fifties, and of course everyone in between.

If it sounds appealing to not only travel to, but live and work in a distant land, all while building your resume, saving tens of thousands of dollars in a single year, and expanding your horizons while immersed in a foreign culture, then know that the experience of a lifetime awaits. Teaching English abroad will be made easier when you work with TeachAbroad and it's friendly and knowledgeable TeachAbroad representatives. They will ensure you find a teaching location that matches you and will ensure you get paid a competative wage for your position.

We negotiate your contract for you. We advocate for you. We will help you with information you need to make your transition to a foreign country easier and eliminate as many of the fears a person coming to live in a new country might have.

We want to eliminate a lot of the confusion that could occur if you were working with a different company who does not truly understand the wants and needs of a person coming from a western culture. We want to make sure everything is clear to you so the chance for confusion is as close to nonexistent as possible.
